Fashion a Cure 09

So now that this is my 10th draft. We at RMSMP wanted to say a special thanks to everyone at Fashion a cure for allowing us to be a part of such an amazing event. As well as apologize for any horrific grammar that may take place during this blog. I, Christopher James, have just sorted through about 950 pics and broke them down to something more reasonable for your viewing pleasure. And am on very little sleep as well so please don't judge.
Last night everyone and their mother's, grandmothers and so on showed up for this event. It was truly a remarkable display of how people can come together for a good cause.
Thank you Mary Mattern and Carly Hood for an amazing time, and for helping people understand a little more about how cancer effects everyone, not just the person it is harming.
I could go into the special thanks to everyone else, but I am not. I have way top many blogs about the show and you can all visit them or go to Fashion a Cure's space for that info. Instead, I am only going to say thanks to one more group of people who helped cause it turns out they we very kind and not what I expected at all. So thank you to the girls from America's Next Top Model. Even when the show was over, they still stayed and partied their faces off with everyone.

Court 13 from the Mouths of Babes

Ok so Rock'm Sock'm Press wrote about Court 13 some time ago. They were are first Blog ever posted on our myspace account. Though we could talk about the company our way... Its wouldn't be nearly as good as hearing it from Court 13 themselves. So here is a little something from the director of the film Benh...

"Court 13 is a community based film movement created by a youthful collective of directors, writers, artists, cinematographers, composers, and producers who have collaborated on seven short film since 2004 and are currently developing two features to be shot in the New Orleans area, along with a variety of educational initiatives. Court 13's films have played at 63 international film festivals and won 19 awards including honors at Sundance and South by Southwest. The Court's latest work, Glory at Sea, received grants from NYSCA, the Jerome Foundation, and got director Benh Zeitlin named one of the "25 New Faces of Independent Film" by Filmmaker Magazine." ..

Thanks to everyone at Court 13, keep up the good work and be sure to let us know when the new films come out.
